Messy crop, tanned skin, eyeliner, tongue stud, leather stilettos. How else can you work it for everyone back home?

Tequila Sunrise

Sambal Udang, Egg & Rice

Last night, Michelle and I had our dinner of sambal udang, fried eggs and rice before we popped down to Como for their themed Gangsters & Flappers night.

As soon as we entered, we were greeted by the bar and restaurant staff dressed to the nines for the night. They even installed lamp posts in corners to give the place an old-school feel. It was a nice, simple, fun night.

The best dressed couple, in my opinion:

Wait a minute, just lost one Cute Bar Staff here!

And a real hottie, Cute Bar Staff #3, Oliver. But it's such a bad photo of him:

A couple of "gangsters" we met; Mick & Hayden:
The Group

Mick getting all macho with his machine gun:

Michelle boogies with the blokes:

I steal Hayden's fedora and get my 2 minutes as a gangster:

I love the way Hayden grabbed the opportunity to grab Michelle, and boy, did he grab her!

Their gifts for making the effort to dress up:

Mucking around with the screwed up machine gun. Yes, I know it looks vulgar:

Gangster Shootout

This Malaysian chap came to say hello simply because he was entertained by all the stunts we were pulling for the camera:

We sorely regret not owning flapper dresses of our own.

Arylene,

was introduced to your blog by baocai, not sure if u still remember who iam from secondary school dayz, seems from your pics u are in perth too..are u up in curtin? I am currently in perth too residing in northbridge. Be here for six months till jan 06 for my placement at parmelia hilton perth. My studies base in in adelaide at International College of Hotel Managment if you have heard of it b4? Juz dropped a message to say hi. Fantastic pics though, esp for someone who's new to western australia like me, I have spent most of my time in south aussie, which in comparison is more dull and boring than here in perth. I found more to see and do. Take care!

Cheers,
Daniel
