Heartburn
Yesterday, Ana's friend Shirley arrived from Singapore and they went off to see my grand-aunt and uncle in the morning. Michelle went out with Daryl. Therefore, I had the house to myself to prepare dinner for six; the five of us plus Russell whom the dinner was meant for in the first place.
I prepared a Honey Macadamia Nut Chicken Roast and a Mustard and Rosemary Crusted Lamb Leg to go with the Roasted Garlic Pasta and Butter Sauteed Asparagus I made. It was funny how because everyone had gone out before, they all arrived looking dressed up and I was still in my apron and Russell came half-greasy from working on his car. I felt bad for Russ and it felt weird but I wasn't about to complain if people bothered to look good for my dinner!
I was too tired to take pictures when we all finally sat down so Ana took the liberty to document my guests. Shirley:

Michelle:
Daryl:
And the whole group:
Ana was sweet enough to prepare her ultra-sweet dessert and Michelle also took the time out to prepare some hors d'oeuvres:
In between dinner and dessert, Russ took Daryl for a spin in his now-famous multi-coloured Silvia. I've got a good video of them driving off demonstrating just how loud that car really is but I don't know where to put all that 85MB of video. Any ideas?

I just hope everyone enjoyed the dinner and that they'll be asking for more!
